Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony: Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has opened up about his experience of being a part of the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony held in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on January 22, 2024. Bhandarkar even posed with Kangana Ranaut for a selfie and it is gaining a lot of attention from fans on social media.
Talking to Hindustan Times, Madhur Bhandarkar revealed, "It was very vibrant and nice. The energy in everyone there was just on another level. It is a remarkable deal for every Indian. The kind of euphoria that was there, especially when the doors opened to see Ram Lalla, people just couldn't control their emotions, it was quite emotional."

Further emphasising how overwhelming it was for the crowd gathered there to witness the historic moment he said, "It was overwhelming for everyone. We were sitting outside and watching it on the big screen. Everyone started clapping and shouting 'Jai Shree Ram' at that time."

Bhandarkar was also spotted before leaving for Ayodhya from Mumbai and was visibly happy to be attending the ceremony.

Bhandarkar went on to reveal what the best moment from the ceremony was and said, “Everybody was in tears when Shree Ram's door opened. It was a surreal moment when the choppers on the top were putting rose petals on everyone, I have no words to describe it”. He also added that though he or other people from the industry could not meet Prime Minister Modi due to security reasons, he was as elated as the PM looked on the occasion.
