The buzz about Don 3 featuring new pair Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani is reaching new heights every day. Amid speculation surrounding the production timeline, it has now been confirmed that the makers and actors are on the same page.
Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 Postponed?
Don 3, which was slated to go on the floor in June 2025, will begin as per the scheduled production timeline. This exciting new update comes amid various reports circulating online that suggested the film’s shooting is postponed due to commitment issues of the team.
The film's producers clarified that these reports were untrue and confirmed that the timeline for Don 3 remains unchanged. As per a spokesperson from Excel Entertainment, the producers of the film said "The makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page that the timeline of Don 3 remains unchanged. Any such news of postponement is not true."
Ever since the announcement of Ranveer Singh being the face of Don 3, the film has already been through several speculative delays. However, the official release date of the film is yet to be announced.
Don franchise has a separate fan base and all credit goes to Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. However, when filmmaker Farhan Akhtar confirmed that Ranveer Singh would take over the role of Don in Don 3 earlier this year, fans were disappointed. Later, Akhtar explained in an interview that while he initially envisioned continuing the story with Shah Rukh, the direction of the plot didn't align with Khan’s involvement. He went on to say that, after rethinking the story, he felt Ranveer was the perfect choice to lead the new chapter of the iconic franchise.
In February, Kiara was officially announced as the female lead and the news was met with excitement from fans. Farhan Akhtar posted on his Instagram handle, "Welcome to the Don universe Kiara Advani...#Don3." To this, she replied, "Thrilled to be part of the iconic Don franchise and to be working with this incredible team! Seeking all your love and support as we set out on this exciting journey together."
Don fans are eagerly waiting for a new update from the makers.
