Rasha Thadani has received immense popularity after her debut movie Azaad alongside Aaman Devgan. After impressing the audience with her acting chops in the movie, the actress reportedly grabbed another project. As per reports, Rasha has been considered for Kartik Aaryan’s Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. The movie earlier starred Sreeleela in a pivotal role. Now, the recent reports suggest that Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha will be replacing Sreeleela in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. Both Kartik and Sreeleela are currently shooting for Anurag Basu’s romantic film in Siliguri, West Bengal. The promo of the untitiled film is already out, last month. 

 

Sreeleela was also approached for a pivotal role in Kartik and Bhumi Pednekar’s Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. Now, the makers are thinking for replacing her with Rasha. A source told Mid Day, “Sreeleela and Kartik are already working together in Anurag’s film. The team of Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 feels a new jodi will attract attention. The final decision rests with Mudassar. He will take a call after conducting look tests.” However, there is no official confirmation about Rasha replacing Sreeleela in the movie yet. 

Notably, the first part of Kartik Aaryan’s Pati Patni Aur Woh was released in theatres in 2019 and performed well at the box office. The film then collected over Rs 100 crore at the ticket windows. The movie stars Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Pandey, Kartik Aaryan, Rajpal Yadav, Aparshakti Khurana and Kriti Sanon in key roles. It was directed by Mudassar Aziz. The second part of the movie has also been directed by Mudassar. 

Coming back to Rasha Thadani, the actress's debut movie Azaad hit the screens in January this year. Despite getting positive reviews, the film bombed at the box office. The movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, Mohit Malik, Dylan Jones, Jiya Amin and Piyush Mishra in key roles. Azaad is currently streaming on Netflix.
