Rashmika Mandanna Calls Cocktail 2 ‘Super Special’; Shares Glimpse Of Her Role In Movie

Rashmika Mandanna is known for choosing a wide variety of roles, each role extremely different from the previous one. From Animal, Chhava, and The Girlfriend, the actress aced each role with versatility and sincerity. Currently, she is gearing up for her upcoming movie Cocktail. The actress recently called the romantic drama 'super special' and further talked about her work momentum in 2025 and expressed her gratitude.

Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in the horror comedy movie, Thamma, alongside Ayushmaan Khuranna. Now, she is all excited for her upcoming movie Cocktail 2. In an interview with Mirror, she said, "Cocktail 2 is super special! I can't reveal too much yet, but my character brings a whole new energy to the story. I am very excited for everyone to see what we have next in line."

Rashmika further talked about her journey over the past year and called it a 'blessing'. She also talked about the lessons 2025 brought. Pushpa actress said, "This past year has honestly been such a blessing, working across languages, meeting new people and playing so many different characters has taught me so much. The biggest lesson I have learned is to just stay grounded and keep growing. Every set, every role, every language comes with something new to learn. And no matter how busy things get, I have realised it's so important to stay true to who you are and enjoy the journey along the way."

Before Rashmika, Kriti Sanon, who is also a part of Cocktail, talked about the movie and how it fell into place for her. In a conversation with Mid-Day, Kriti said, "I wanted a movie like Cocktail 2, especially after Tere Ishk Mein, which was so intense and heavy. I wanted to be in this light, fun, rom-com space. Things fell in place at the right time."

About Cocktail 2

Cocktail 2 is the second instalment of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone's hit movie Cocktail. Over a decade later, the second part of the movie is all set to hit the theatres with a completely different cast and story.

The cast of the movie includes Rashmika Mandanna, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The film is slated to release in 2026.
