Actor turned politician Ravi Kishan recently opened up about facing the casting couch situation and how he narrowly escaped it. The actor narrated the incident without naming the woman and said that she is a ‘big shot’ now.
Speaking to Rajat Sharma in an episode of Aap Ki Adalat, Ravi Kishan spoke about the time when he initially came into the film industry. The MP said, “Yeah, it happened and this is something that happens in the industry. But I somehow managed to escape. My father had taught me that I should approach my work with honesty, I never wanted to take a shortcut. I knew I was talented.”

Ravi Kishan further added, “I can’t name her, because she has become a big shot now. She had said, ‘Coffee peene raat me aayiye (Come at night for a cup of coffee)’. I thought that is something people prefer to have during the day, so I got the hint and refused.”
In the same interview, Ravi Kishan was further asked about playing a less significant role in Akshay Kumar’s blockbuster comedy film franchise, Hera Pheri. To this, the actor replied, "This is life. We do films about friendship or helplessness. At times, you get stuck emotionally. People have often trapped me emotionally. I did films as a compromise and played roles that, people told me, were not required for an actor like me."
Recently, Ravi Kishan took to his social media account to post pictures with Rajat Sharma from the sets of the show. Taking to his Instagram account, the MP posted multiple pictures from his interaction with the veteran journalist and wrote, “Had amazing experience shooting with @rajatsharmalive ji, a platform where legendary ,face the googlies by one of the most learned journos accompanied with top-notch jury. Truly Excited about the episode while defending and justifying bouncy questions solo in the witness box.”
