Janhvi Kapoor, gearing up for her second Telugu film with Ram Charan in the tentative project RC16, was present at the film's launch ceremony on Wednesday. The event included a pooja ceremony attended by Janhvi, Ram Charan, the film's producers, and notable figures like Ram's wife Upasana, father Chiranjeevi, and Janhvi's father Boney Kapoor. The acclaimed music composer AR Rahman was also present at the event.

Adorned in traditional attire, the cast participated in the auspicious pooja (Mahurat). Janhvi exuded elegance in a pastel green saree, while Ram Charan looked stylish in a white shirt paired with matching trousers. Rahman appeared dashing in his white formal attire.

Buchi Babu Sana is helming the forthcoming film, tentatively known as RC 16. The announcement was made by Mythri Movie Makers on Janhvi Kapoor's birthday on March 6. The tweet read, "#RC16 welcomes Birthday Girl #JanhviKapoor on-board! #Shivarajkumar is Playing a key role. #RamCharanRevolts In theatres 2025!." As she steps into the South Indian film industry with Jr. NTR's Devara, her collaboration with Ram Charan in the upcoming movie has sparked considerable excitement.

Although more information regarding RC16 is being kept under wraps, there are indications that the movie will be a rural sports drama, possibly revolving around Kabaddi. Director Buchi Babu Sana has stated that he dedicated almost four years to crafting the script and is optimistic about its potential to become a box office hit.

What's more for Janhvi and Ram Charan?

Janhvi is poised to enter the Telugu film industry with 'Devara,' alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is slated for release in October this year. It is set to be unveiled in two installments, heightening the anticipation of fans eagerly awaiting this cinematic extravaganza. This milestone marks NTR Jr's 30th film, promising to deliver a visual spectacle for audiences. The film also boasts a cast including Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain. Additionally, the actress is set to appear in the upcoming films 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi,' 'Ulajh,' and 'Sunny Sunskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.'

Ram Charan has 'Game Changer' in his kitty, where he is rumoured to play the role of an IAS officer. The movie features an impressive ensemble cast, including Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Samuthirakani, Sunil, Srikanth, and Nassar.
