Alia Bhatt's security guard blames building officials for attack on Saif Ali Khan

Alia Bhatt's security head, Yusuf Ibrahim, weighed in on the security concerns raised by Saif Ali Khan's stabbing incident. He emphasised that building guards are often underpaid, leading to fatigue and decreased effectiveness.

According to a report in News18, Yusuf said, “Uske (Saif) ghar tak upar kaise chale gaye yeh bhi pata nahi. Lekin ek cheez maine notice kari when I ventured into building security… they used to say Rs 7000 ya Rs 8000 main karo. It’s not possible, what the society wants. Rs 7000 se uska (the guard) ghar nahi chalta hai. Voh gaon (village) se aata hai kaam karne ke liye toh he does double shift. He does morning and night 12-hour shifts. Voh soyega hi soyega. Security aapko barabar nahi milega.”

“If you pay a good amount to security companies… voh khud mehnat karega. Insaan ki body ko rest chahiye. Yeh jo security buildings ki hoti hai, they need to work on it… Mere yeh nahi samajh aaya ki Saif ki building main kaise aadmi upar chala gaya? Flat ke andar kaise chala gaya? It’s a big mistake from the society. I don’t know how much the society is paying them. Lekin society ko samajhna chahiye ki hum accha amount denge toh log acche se kaam karenge,” he further added.

According to Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan has upgraded his security by hiring actor Ronit Roy's security firm to ensure his safety. Roy remained tight-lipped about the specifics of the security arrangements that his firm has put in place for Saif Ali Khan. However, he did offer a brief update on the actor's current status, stating that his team is already on the ground, working to ensure Saif's safety and well-being.
