After undergoing the procedure, he is currently in the recovery phase, where a team of medical professionals is closely monitoring his progress. The actor's family members have been confirmed to be safe and unharmed. In an official statement, Saif Ali Khan's team has reassured fans that the actor is doing well and is steadily on the road to recovery.
"Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police are investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time,” the team claimed.
Doctors Share Saif Ali Khan's Health Update
Following his surgery, Saif Ali Khan has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for close observation. According to Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, a fragment of the broken knife was discovered near the actor's spine, which was successfully removed and handed over to the police as evidence. Dr. Uttamani added that Saif Ali Khan will remain under observation for the next 24 hours.
Saif Ali Khan sustained six stab wounds, with two being particularly deep, including one near his spine. He also suffered a deep wound on his left hand, prompting the involvement of a plastic surgeon in his treatment, according to hospital authorities.
Shah Rukh Khan Stabbing Incident
A bizarre incident occurred at the residence of actor Saif Ali Khan, where an unidentified individual gained entry and got into an altercation with the maid late at night. When Saif Ali Khan attempted to intervene and calm the situation, the intruder allegedly turned on him, causing injuries. The authorities are currently investigating the matter.
