Saif Ali Khan News: Saif Ali Khan was attacked during a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence in the wee hours of Thursday. The actor is currently on treatment at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. As per a report by Times Of India, the attacker, who stabbed Saif, carried a stick and knife with him with the intention of robbing the house. According to the FIR lodged by Saif’s staff, the thief was found in Jeh’s room and demanded Rs 1 crore when confronted. 

Jeh’s nanny Eliyama Philip was the first person to notice the intruder at around 2 am. In her statement to the police, she shared that she thought it was Kareena but later noticed that it was a man’s shadow wearing a cap near the bathroom door. When she felt that something was wrong, she immediately rush to Jeh’s side to protect him. The intruder then asked the nanny to remain quiet by placing his finger to his lips. Eliyama described how the intruder first attempted to stab her with a blade while holding a wooden object on the other. The nanny mentioned that she tried to protect herself by raising her hand but instead was injured by the attacker. She further revealed that intruder demanded money. On asking what did he want, he said “Money…One crore.” 

During the confrontation another caretaker Junu flee from the room and alerted Saif and Kareena. Hearing Junu’s cry, Saif and Kareena rushed to Jen’s room. Saif then asked the intruder, “Who are you, and what do you want?” Saif tried to handle the intruder while ensuring the safety of his family. Junu informed police that the thief first attacked Saif with a wooden object and a hexa blade. Saif managed to fight off the attacker and other family members ran out of the room. They alerted the authorities about the situation. After the scuffle, the family rushed to an upstair room. Hearing the commotion, the staff came to Jeh’s room, they found the door open. The intruder could not be found. Jeh’s nanny informed the police that Saif suffered multiple injuries including wounds on the back of his neck, near his right shoulder, the left side of his back, and on his left wrist and elbow.
