Actor Saif Ali Khan, who got injured during a scuffle with an intruder at his residence in Mumbai, is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. In the latest update, the actor has shown improvement in health and doctors have moved him from the ICU to a special room. Amid this tough time, his son Ibrahim Ali Khan has reportedly postponed the shooting of his upcoming film Diler in light of this tragic incident.
Ibrahim Ali Khan wants to stay with his dad after the stabbing incident, which is why the shooting of Diler has been put on hold. A source quoted by India Today stated, "The shooting of Maddock’s Diler was on, but it has been put on hold after the attack on Saif. Sreelala is also in the film, which is being directed by Kunal Deshmukh. Ibrahim wants to be by his dad’s side until he comes home and fully recovers."
Ibrahim Ali Khan will soon make his Bollywood debut with Sarzameen, directed by Kayoze Irani. The film tells the story of an army officer fighting terrorism in Kashmir. The patriotic drama also stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. In Kunal Deshmukh’s sports drama Diler, Ibrahim will play the role of a marathoner. The plot and cast of the movie are still being kept under wraps.
Saif Ali Khan's Health Update
Saif Ali Khan sustained major injuries during a robbery attempt at his home on Thursday. The actor was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is now under the observation of doctors. "Saif Ali Khan walked in like a lion with his son Taimur. He is a real hero. He is doing very well now and has been shifted from the ICU to a special room," Niraj Uttamani, Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, said in a statement.
