Salaar Box Office Collection Day 8: It seems like Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer had a strong opening but is now facing challenges in sustaining its initial momentum. It is experiencing a consistent decline in its box office earnings. The film has entered its second week in theatres and there was a noticeable drop from its opening day collection of Rs 90.7 crore on the first Friday. On December 29, the film earned over Rs 10 crore.

On its eighth day, 'Salaar' earned Rs 318.28 crore in total box office collections across all languages in India. In terms of occupancy, Prabhas' film recorded an overall 30.69 percent occupancy in Telugu, 19.20 percent in Malayalam, 19.45 percent in Tamil, 9.70 percent in Kannada, and 17.22 percent in Hindi screenings. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film amassed Rs 318 crore within eight days of its release in the domestic market at the Indian Box Office. Early estimates suggest that on its eighth day in theaters, the film earned a net of Rs 10 crore.
With a global total reaching Rs 542 crore, 'Salaar' becomes the seventh film this year to cross the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide, joining the ranks of 'Pathaan,' 'Jawan,' 'Leo,' 'Gadar 2,' 'Jailer,' and 'Animal.' Despite receiving a mixed response from critics and audiences, the movie's remarkable box office success underscores the immense influence of Prabhas' star status and the film's broad international appeal.
