'Salaar’s postponement has impacted the entire South film industry, especially some big releases that were supposed to happen in December 2023. Prabahs-starrer which was all set to happen in September, will now hit the theatres on December 22, 2023. Now, one of the highly-anticipated movies, Saindhav, starring Venkatesh Daggubati, was scheduled for its theatrical release on December 22, has now been postponed to avoid the clash.

Originally set to hit the screens on December 22, 2023, the film ‘Saindhav’, helmed by director Sailesh Kolanu, has undergone a shift in its release date. Now, it is slated to release on January 13 of the upcoming year. This film holds particular significance as it marks the Telugu entertainment industry debut of renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It's noteworthy that despite several other projects being scheduled for release on the same date, the makers have opted to unveil ‘Saindhav’ in January. Among the competing films are ‘Guntur Karam’ starring Mahesh Babu, ‘Eagle’, ‘Naa Saami Ranga’, ‘Hanuman’, and ‘Family Star’ featuring Vijay Deverakonda.

For the unversed, December 2023 will not only see 'Salaar' on big screen, but big-ticket movies like Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha, Katrina Kaif’s Merry Christmas — all are slated to release in December 2023.
