Salaar Hindi OTT Release Confirmed! On the occasion of Makar Sankranti/Pongal, OTT juggernaut Netflix unveiled its future lineup of Telugu original titles, featuring the highly anticipated 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire'. The streaming service emphasized that the film would offer audio options in Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. Interestingly, the announcement lacked details about the Hindi version, sparking speculation about whether Hombale Films, the producers, have brokered rights with another platform.

According to OTTPlay, Chaluve Gowda, co-founder of Hombale Films, clarified that Netflix announcement regarding 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire' having Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil audio options was specifically for a festival special. Regarding the Hindi version, he assured that the Prabhas-starrer would exclusively be available on Netflix, with an official confirmation expected soon.

In contrast to South Indian films, which can be available for streaming within 30 days of their cinema release, Hindi movies follow a mandatory waiting period of 90 days. Salaar, having premiered in theaters on December 22, 2023, may reportedly be accessible on Netflix for South Indian language versions as early as Republic Day (January 26), although there is no official confirmation. The Hindi version, however, is expected to be accessible sometime in March of this year.
