The makers unveiled the real reason and decided to push the release date because of the pending post-production work. Director Prashanth Neel was not satisfied with CG’s work and didn't want to compromise on the quality of the final product. Therefore, he took the decision to postpone the release of the film.

With the spot of September to be empty again, Ram Pothineni starrer ‘Skanda’ immediately took the release date. The film is directed by Boyapati Srinu.
