Salaar vs Dunki Advance Bookings: As the release date nears, the competition intensifies between Prabhas' 'Salaar' and Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dunki.' According to trade experts, Salaar has set the box office ablaze with its impressive advance booking figures. The film garnered $846,216 in revenue and sold 31,833 tickets in the US prior to its launch. On the other hand, in North Indian multiplexes, screen allocations are reportedly divided-- 46 per cent for 'Dunki,' 30 per cent for 'Salaar,' rest is for 'Aquaman'.

According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the statistics encompass 415 locations across the US, showcasing a total of 1,331 shows. While 'Salaar' is scheduled for its launch, 'Dunki' is set to hit screens a day prior. The advance booking numbers for Rajkumar Hirani in the US indicate a gross earning of $155,256. The film has secured 11,300 ticket sales across 433 locations, presenting a total of 1,226 shows.

The Christmas and New Year festive season is expected to bolster ticket sales, maintaining strong revenues at the weekend level even through the weekdays. 'Dunki' featuring Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal alongside Shah Rukh Khan, is all set to hit theaters on December 21. The film is sparking plans for extensive premiere showings, both in India and abroad. Advance bookings for the film have kicked off overseas and are showing promising numbers, with forecasts indicating an opening north of Rs 20.8 crore ($2.50 million). Pinkvilla reports suggest that earnings in international markets might even surpass Rs 25 crore ($3 million). The film's initial four-day weekend is estimated to rake in over Rs 124 crore ($15 million), subject to audience response and reception.
