Bigg Boss OTT 3: The producers of Salman Khan hosted have removed the announcement post for the upcoming season. Earlier this week, Endemol Shine India, the production house behind Bigg Boss, took to its official Instagram account to reveal Bigg Boss OTT 3. They shared a poster featuring Salman pointing towards the audience, accompanied by the question, "Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT?" However, the post has been deleted. This comes days after recent shooting outside Bollywood actor's residence. This has led to speculation among internet users about whether the makers have shelved plans for a new season.

On April 14, gunshots were reported outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra locality. Subsequently, the Mumbai Crime Branch apprehended two suspects from Gujarat’s Bhuj and transported them to Mumbai. Identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, the accused were allegedly involved in the incident. According to sources within the Mumbai Police, the attack was attributed to Lawrence’s gang and purportedly orchestrated by Rohit Godara, associated with the Bishnoi gang in Rajasthan.

Lawrence Bishnoi, a convicted gangster, has purportedly targeted Salman Khan, allegedly in connection to the 1998 blackbuck hunting incident. Anmol Bishnoi, his brother, had reportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting incident. According to Mumbai police statements, the two individuals who discharged firearms outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence had conducted surveillance of his farmhouse in Panvel four days prior to the incident.

The OTT version, launched in 2021, witnessed two successful seasons. YouTuber Elvish Yadav made history by clinching the trophy of Bigg Boss OTT 2 as the first wild card contestant to win the show. As Salman Khan prepares for the third season of BB OTT, recent reports suggest that Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, and Manisha Rani are poised to make a comeback as mentors. However, some reports also indicate that rather than mentoring, Elvish and Abhishek may host a special segment on weekends, similar to the role played by Arbaaz and Sohail Khan for Bigg Boss 17. At present, there has been no official confirmation from either party regarding these speculations.
