Salman Khan's Security Reviewed Following Another 'Threat' By Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi | Deets Inside

The Mumbai Police reviewed the security arrangements for Salman Khan, urging him to remain vigilant after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi issued a threat. The actor has already been given Y-plus security. The gangster, who is reportedly in custody in connection with a drugs smuggling case investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), allegedly issued this threat against the Bollywood actor via Facebook post directed at Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal, where he took responsibility for the shots fired outside the latter's residence in Canada.

According to ANI, "Bollywood Actor Salman Khan received a threat through a Facebook post after which his security has been reviewed, say Mumbai Police."

Recently, an account posing as gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had posted “You (Gippy Grewal) consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you. Your dramatic response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. We all know the kind of person he was and the criminal associations he had… You’ve now landed on our radar. Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon. Flee to any country you wish, but remember, death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited."

Following the shooting incident outside Gippy Grewal's residence in Vancouver, Canada, the singer stated that he was not acquainted with Salman Khan. Grewal clarified that he had only met Salman during the trailer launch of Maujaan Hi Maujaan since the film's producer had invited him there and before that, he met the Tiger 3 actor on Bigg Boss sets.

Meanwhile, Salman's security was heightened after reportedly receiving a death threat via email, purportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in March this year. The gangster is also allegedly linked to the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

Salman starrer Tiger 3 hit the silver screen on November 12. Also starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, the spy thriller is receiving rave reviews and performing well at the box office. The film also features actors Revathy and Vishal Jethwa in significant roles. Helmed by filmmaker Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages with its high-octane action and thriller elements.
