Kajal Aggarwal’s crime thriller Satyabhama made its digital debut. Suman Chikkala’s directorial focused on ACP Satyabhama who investigates a missing person case which led to the uncovering of some dark secrets across the shadowy town. Featuring the powerful performances of Kajal Aggarwal, Naveen Chandra, Satya Pradeepti, Anirudh Pavithran, Prajwal Yadma and Ankith Koyya, the movie was highly praised by the audience. It also marks the 60th film of Telugu superstar Kajal.

IMDb has rated Satyabhama with 8.6 stars. Released in theatres on 7th June, the movie has been backed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly. Satyabhama’s amazing storyline has glued the audience as it showcases a lady officer, who seamlessly handles and balances both her professional life and personal struggles. It also highlights the bold attitude of a brave woman who intends to change the world. 

The film also starred Prakash Raj, Nagineedu, Harsha Vardhan and Ravi Varma in significant roles. The title song Kallara has been sung by renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal. Reportedly, Suman Chikkala made the film on an estimated budget of between Rs 15 to Rs 20 crore. However, the movie didn’t make such at making numbers at the box office despite getting good reviews. As per the report by Sacnilk, Satyabhama had a decent collection at the box office and earned an estimated Rs 2.23 Crore India net.

The Telugu crime thriller is currently streaming on Prime Video. The film made a silent entrance to the OTT platform without any promotions or prior announcements made by the makers or the streaming platform.
