Scheduled for release on December 7, 2023, 'The Archies' is being showcased in a special screening event in Mumbai today, on December 5. This highly anticipated occasion witnessed the presence of Shah Rukh Khan, along with his wife Gauri Khan and sons Aryan Khan and AbRam, offering support and encouragement for Suhana Khan's major debut in acting.

An Instagram video captured Shah Rukh Khan's arrival alongside his entire family, featuring his wife Gauri Khan and sons AbRam and Aryan Khan at 'The Archies' screening. Dressed elegantly in matching black attire, the Khan family exuded grace for the occasion. Suhana stole the spotlight in a mesmerizing red dress.

There was a debate surrounding nepotism when the cast of The Archies was unveiled. Speaking to Indian Express, director Zoya Akhtar addressed the matter and said, "There is definitely a conversation of have and have nots, there is definitely a conversation of people with privilege and those without. May be the film industry has become a symbol of it to some level, but I think what people need to ask for is what they really want. Better school, better education? By denying someone a career of their choice, that’s not going to make anything better for you. So I understand that to the root of it there is something but just this conversation is not taking it anywhere. It is not changing anything."

Meanwhile, 'The Archies' is produced by Tiger Baby Productions and directed by Zoya Akhtar. It stars Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal and Yuvraj Menda.  It features the fictional music band produced by and related to Archie Comics.
