Rapper King shared an anecdote about a video call with Shah Rukh Khan, expressing surprise when the actor apologised with folded hands for being late. He mentioned getting down from the sofa to the floor out of respect when Bollywood superstar did this. King also praised SRK for providing artists creative freedom and mentioned discussing a potential collaboration during their conversation.

In an interview with India Folk Project, rapper King recounted his excitement after conversing with Shah Rukh Khan on a video call. He expressed how he couldn't sleep for two days due to the thrill. "I spoke to him on a video call and I couldn’t sleep for two days just out of excitement." King recalled their conversation, "He came a little late on the call. Honestly, it didn’t matter to me that he was late, he was there and that’s all that matters. But the first thing he did was, he folded his hands and said, 'King, I am so sorry I’m late.' I was sitting on the sofa and I sat on the floor. I folded my hands and I said, 'Sir, please don’t do this.'"

Adding, "He said I want you to do something for me. He said, 'King, if you don’t feel like it, tell me.' He said whatever you are doing is great, you don’t need it. But if you feel like it, I really want that we work together," the rapper said.

King mentioned in the interview that Shah Rukh Khan granted him complete creative freedom without any specific instructions. The superstar entrusted him with the song, expressing that he would adapt the script to the song rather than instructing King on what to do. He said. "I will change the script, you just make the song. I will not instruct you what to do.’ He knows how important it is to give freedom to an artist," the Maan Meri Jaan singer said.
