Shahid Kapoor has established himself as one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood with his stellar performances in different films. After the success of his latest OTT projects 'Farzi' and 'Bloody Daddy', fans are excited to see Shahid Kapoor's next films. He has finally announced his new film 'Deva' for which he will be donning a fierce and cool look. Shahid posted a picture on social media in which he can be seen holding a gun and sporting a buzz cut.

Announcing the release date of 'Deva', Shahid Kapoor wrote on Instagram, "DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024."

'Deva' also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the movie will be produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur in collaboration with the CEO of Zee Studios Shariq Patel. Welcoming Pooja Hegde to the team, the official Instagram account of Roy Kapur Films wrote in the caption, "Our thrilling action-packed adventure just got a lot more exciting with the birthday girl @hegdepooja joining us on this journey. Wishing a stellar day of fun and happiness to our lovely leading lady."

Talking about working with Shahid Kapoor and Rosshan Andrrews, Pooja said in a statement, "It's a very special film with such an exciting yet different storyline. Rosshan Andrrews is known for weaving magic on the big screen, and I can't wait to start this journey and for the audience to see me in such a unique and different role. I'm also looking forward to working with Shahid Kapoor; he's a stellar performer, and I'm hopeful that our collaboration will be a memorable one."

CEO Zee Studios Shariq Patel and Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur added, "Bringing Pooja Hegde on board was an easy decision for us as she's extremely versatile and promising. Her on-screen chemistry with any of the actors she is paired with is widely recognized, and we are sure audiences will get to see another side of her in this film. We are very happy to have her on board."

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor will also star in an untitled film opposite Kriti Sanon in the lead role.
