Shilpa Shinde has voiced her support for Asim Riaz, alleging that he was 'bullied' and 'provoked' while filming Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in Romania. Asim's unexpected departure from the stunt based reality show, following a heated clash with host Rohit Shetty, has generated significant buzz. Asim, who lost a task and referred to fellow contestants Abhishek Kumar and Shalin Bhanot as 'losers,' was kicked out of the show.
Following the episode, Shilpa Shinde, who is currently recovering from minor surgery, acknowledged that while Asim's behaviour was not justifiable, she felt that the other contestants’ actions in provoking and bullying him contributed to his extreme reaction.
"Kuch bhi nahin hua tha. Aap ke sar paani chala jata hai. Down-to-earth hona chahiya. Ek banda ek taraf aur baki ek jhoondh hai, usko bhadkaya gaya as they knew his nature. Sablog success handle nahin kar pate. Sab log galat the, sab log sahi the. Maine use baar baar bola ki woh chup rahe, bahas na kare (People should be humble. Asim was alone on one side and others ganged up against him, provoked him. I kept urging him not to speak or argue with Rohit Shetty. They knew his nature and yet bullied him and instigated him. Everyone cannot handle success)," she told Times Now.
Shilpa also remarked that Asim Riaz should have approached Khatron Ke Khiladi differently than he did Bigg Boss. She explained, "Woh aggressive nahin tha, but he is talkative… he wanted to share his experience and the pain he has gone through. Usko zyada bolne ki aadat hai. Usko chup karana padta hai. Uske bolne ka andaaz galat ho sakata hai (He wanted to share his experiences and the pain he’s endured. He has a habit of talking excessively, which can sometimes be problematic. His way of expressing himself might not always be appropriate.)"

Asim Riaz was recently expelled from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 after allegedly misbehaving with host Rohit Shetty and his fellow contestants.
