Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik has tied the knot with popular Pakistani actress Sana Javed, sparking rumours of his separation from former India tennis player Sania Mirza. He shared photos from their wedding ceremony on Saturday, January 20, on social media. Shoaib shared pictures of the wedding on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt caption. In the post, adorned with the caption "Alhamdullilah," Shoaib Malik expressed gratitude, quoting "And We created you in pairs". 

Sana Javed also took to social media on Saturday to share photos from their wedding ceremony. Fans of the star cricketer were surprised as rumours of his separation had been making headlines lately.

Rumours of Shoaib and Sana being romantically involved had circulated, and the Pakistan cricketer seemed to add fuel to the speculation when he extended birthday wishes to the Pakistani actor last year. The cricketer had shared a photo of them together on his Instagram page with the caption, "Happy Birthday Buddy."

Who is Sana Javed?

Sana Javed is a popular Pakistani actress known for her work in Urdu television dramas. Sana gained recognition and a significant fan following for her versatile acting skills and compelling performances. Sana made her acting debut with the television serial 'Mera Pehla Pyaar' in 2011. Her breakthrough came with the drama serial 'Pyarey Afzal' in 2014, where she played the lead role of Farah Ibrahim. The actress has been part of several hit dramas, including 'Koi Chand Rakh,' 'Romeo Weds Heer,' and 'Dunk,' among others.

In addition to television, Sana made her film debut with the Pakistani movie 'Mehrunisa V Lub U' in 2017.

For the unversed, Shoaib and Sania Mirza had maintained a private stance on their personal lives despite ongoing speculation about their separation. They had tied the knot in Hyderabad in 2010 in a traditional Muslim ceremony, followed by a Walima ceremony in Sialkot, Pakistan. The couple welcomed their son, Izhaan, in 2018.

Recently, Sania Mirza shared a cryptic post, further fueling rumours of her divorce from Shoaib Malik. She posted, "Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard.
