'Stree' is one of the most loved horror comedy movies in Bollywood and has received a lot of love from the audience. It is finally back with its second instalment and the star cast has already kickstarted the promotions for 'Stree 2'. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, Tamannaah Bhatia is the new addition to 'Stree 2' and will be seen in the dance number 'Aaj Ki Raat'.

Both Shraddha and Tamannaah were seen at the launch of 'Aaj Ki Raat' and praised each other. Praising Shraddha, Tamannaah said, "She is an amazing actress. Jab wo aati hai aur dance karti hai na, tabaahi mak jaati hai." (Whenever she comes and dances, she sets the stage on fire)"

She added, "She is absolutely amazing. You are a brilliant actor, you're so gorgeous, you perform well, you dance incredibly well."

'Stree', 'Stree 2', 'Munjya' and 'Bhediya' are part of the same horror universe. Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Banerjee also had cameo roles in 'Munjya', in which they reprised their role from the movie 'Bhediya'.

It has been reported that Varun Dhawan will make a special appearance in 'Stree 2' and will have an important role in the film. “In Bhediya, the characters of Stree enter towards the very end and had nothing to do with the main conflict in the narrative. But in Stree’s sequel, Varun Dhawan will have a crucial role to play. It will be a special appearance but it’ll be something that will add to the fun and madness in Stree 2,” a source was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.

'Stree 2' will hit the theatres on August 15, 2024. In the movie, the protagonists will have to face a new demon called 'Sarkata' and will take Stree's help to defeat him.
