Sitaare Zameen Par Update: Aamir Khan is all set to enthrall audiences with Sitaare Zameen Par after a hiatus from acting. The upcoming movie is a sequel to Taare Zameen Par, which was released in 2007 and achieved commercial success. In addition to starring in the film, Aamir Khan is also taking on the role of producer. Actress Genelia is expected to star in the film in a pivotal role. Amid speculation about the movie’s release, the latest buzz suggests it is set to premiere this June. Not only that, but the makers are also planning to launch the trailer soon.

Sitaare Zameen Par Release Update

A source quoted by Pinkvilla, claimed, “Aamir is looking to capitalize on the open run in the month of June. Initially, he was contemplating to arrive on May 30, but a June 20 release is giving him a two-week clear run at the box office."

The film's editing reportedly is complete and the Sitaare Zameen Par team is focusing on marketing strategy. "Aamir strongly believes in the content of Sitaare Zameen Par, as it rides on his formula of laughter-emotion-drama. He was looking for a good window and has found one with a June 20 release," the source informed.

The trailer of Sitaare Zameen Par is expected to be launched soon. The makers are planning its theatrical launch by attaching it to the release of Raid 2, which is slated to hit theatres on May 1, 2025.

The source added, “The trailer is locked and Aamir is targeting to attach the trailer to Raid 2. The idea is to communicate the data directly to the cinema-going audience, and Raid 2 is a film which is expected to do well at the box office. This is his plan at the moment, but knowing Aamir, there could be last-minute changes too."

Apart from Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir is set to produce Lahore: 1947 starring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal, Mithun Chakraborty, Karan Deol, Parminder Singh Kainth and Shaqib Khan in pivotal roles. The movie is being directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
