Maleesha Kharwa, also known as 'The Princess from the Slum' was born and raised in the streets of the largest slum in Asia, Dharavi located in Mumbai. With her sensual charm, this girl bagged up to be the face of the luxury beauty brand Forest Essential's The Yuvati Collection.

In April the brand made the announcement on Instagram along with a heartwarming video of Maleesha where the reaction of this youngster was captured where she was seen entering the brand's store in a mall and having her poster as the main display.

Looking stunned and ecstatic, she was seen wearing her school uniform and her face lit up with pure delight seeing her dreams come true in front of her sight. The video also added the caption, "Her face lit up with pure delight. To see her dreams in front of her in sight. Maleesha's story is a beautiful reminder that dreams do come true."

Being the face of the campaign, Maleesha has attracted several followers on her official Instagram page where she currently enjoys more than two lakh followers. The founder and the chief managing director of Forest Essentials, Mira Kulkarni also shared her connection with the youngster where she found her interesting and humble where next all remains a history.

Maleesha Kharwa was discovered by actor Robert Hoffman, who is now her manager and keenly his team works with Maleesha's family to support her dream of becoming a model. The actor also opened a GoFundMe page which continues to educate and support her artistic goals.

The 14-year-old girl has given interviews to some top international magazines and has also been featured in, Cosmopolitan and Vogue India. During an interaction with Vogue India, Maleesha highlighted the fact that Forest Essentials was one of the best works she has done so far.

She said, "This is my biggest job to date, and it has changed my life so much. I want to be a model, but education will always come first for me." Sharing her life-changing experience on social media, netizens have also come in support of the child.
