Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad on 8th August. After years of dating rumours, Nagarjuna confirmed their relationship by sharing their engagement photos on social media. Naga was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Recently, a video that went viral on social media which showcased Sobhita praising the journey of Samantha and called her way of leading a project ‘cool’. The video was from when she was promoting her show The Night Manager Part 2. 

Sobhita said in the video, “I think her (Samantha) journey is super cool. If you see her filmography, the way she can headline a project right now, it’s really cool.” When asked about Naga Chaitanya, she said, “I think his temperament to… I think he’s such a cool-headed, calm guy. So dignified. I really appreciate it.”

Sobhita and Naga are spotted in several places like London, and Hyderabad. They were spotted together last year in Hyderabad where the actress was promoting his film. Reports also suggested that Sobhita not only promoted her movie but also celebrated her now ‘fiance’ birthday.

On Thursday, sharing the news of Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s engagement, Nagarjuna wrote “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness.
