Stree 2 OTT Update: ‘Stree 2’, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 blockbuster ‘Stree’, is gearing up for a theatrical release, followed by availability on Amazon Prime Video for streaming. The film, directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, promises to deliver another dose of horror-comedy entertainment.

The first look teaser of ‘Stree 2’ was unveiled last year, revealing the theme of the film as "sarkate ka aatank" (terror of the headless man). The teaser hinted at a different approach this time, with the message for Stree being 'O stree raksha karna' (Stree, please protect us) instead of 'O stree kal aana' (Stree, come tomorrow).

The movie features an ensemble cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee, reprising their roles from the original film. The sequel also promises to introduce new surprises to captivate the audience.

The excitement for ‘Stree 2’ is palpable, as fans eagerly await its release. The film's announcement came alongside the release of Varun Dhawan's ‘Bhediya’, where Shraddha Kapoor made a surprise cameo and confirmed the sequel in a behind-the-scenes video.

As part of Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, ‘Stree 2’ follows the success of ‘Stree’ and subsequent films like ‘Roohi’ and ‘Bhediya’. The original ‘Stree’ was a groundbreaking film in the genre, blending horror and comedy seamlessly to deliver a unique cinematic experience.
