Sunny Deol’s comeback in 2023 with the movie Gadar 2 is still being remembered as it's one of the biggest blockbuster films. The actor’s latest film Jaat, which released in theatres on April 10, has often been compared with his previous movie, Gadar 2, in terms of box office numbers. Reacting to the question of whether he felt the pressure of the box office numbers of both films, Sunny stated that he had never felt pressure before, but started getting worried when there were several discussions. Here is what he said.

In an interview with Bollywood Life, Sunny was asked if he feels any pressure with Jaat’s box office performance after Gadar 2’s blockbuster success. He said, “Pressure? I have not taken pressure basically ever in my life. But aaj ke zamaane mein even if you are not taking then koi sui chubho deta he ki pressure lo! Kyuki itne charche hone lag jaate hain ke ye figure he, wo he! Aadmi ghabrane lag jata hai (In today's age people will pin you down with the pressure. Because there are so many discussions on this and that, we get worried).”

“Maine toh bas picture mein kaam kiya he is ummeed se ki logo ko achchi lagegi. Par woh figure kaha ayega how can we think about it? Par jaab baat karte hein tab thodi ghabrahat hoti he (I work on a film hoping that people will like it. How can I know what figure it will make? But when we talk about it then I worry),” he added.

Coming back to Jaat, the film had a box office collection of Rs 26.50 crore after 3 days of release. The movie also features Regina Cassandra, Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu and Upendra Limaye in key roles. It has been directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar.
