Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Box Office Collection Day 4: Randeep Hooda is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood and has always managed to impress the audience with his stellar performances. He is back on the big screen with 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar', which has been receiving a good response from the audience. The movie is based on the life of Veer Savarkar, who was a politician, activist and writer and one of the foremost pioneers of the Hindu nationalist political ideology.
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Box Office Collection Day 4:
According to the website Sacnilk, 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' collected Rs 2.25 crore on day 4 as per early estimate. The movie collected Rs 2.7 crore on day 3 and its total collection stands at Rs 8.25 crore.
In an interview with India Today, Randeep talked about making his directorial debut with 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’. He said, "It was a series of events that led me to it. I was cast as an actor in this film and, since there was no real script, I kept waiting for it and I kept losing weight. So, I wrote it myself with my co-writer Utkarsh Naithani, and then the universe conspired. I got the baton of the director, and it was something which I would probably have done later on in my life.”
"It was a big historical movie, a factual film and about such a controversial character, so it was like jumping into the deep end of the sea right from the beginning. It came to writing a screenplay, then as a director, then post-production, then editing. So, thanks to Mr. Vinayak Damodar Savarkarji that I have become from just an actor into a writer, director and even a producer, and it has been a meteoric learning process for me and I still am learning,” he added.
On the work front, Randeep was last seen in 'Sergeant', which is streaming on JioCinema. He will next star in 'Unfair & Lovely' along with Ileana D'Cruz.
