Tamannaah Bhatia has been impressing the audience with her back-to-back projects on the OTT platform and she is back with another web series 'Aakhri Sach'. The actress will be seen as the lead investigation officer in this thriller series. 'Aakhri Sach' is based on the Burari deaths case that happened in Delhi in 2018. Apart from Tamannaah, the series also stars Abhishek Banerjee in the lead role.
Aakhri Sach Release Date:
'Aakhri Sach' will release on Disney+ Hotstar on August 25.
Sharing the trailer, Tamannaah wrote on Instagram, "A bone chilling tale that unravels the most twisted ties of fate, trapped secrets of a family and terrifying horrors an investigator has ever seen. Watch #HotstarSpecials #AakhriSach from 25th August."

Talking about her role, Tamannaah said in her statement, "When ‘Aakhri Sach’ came to me, it was a story that immediately shook my very core. This character is very special to me - firstly because it’s the first time ever I am playing a police officer in a long format and secondly, the emotional vulnerability of Anya that 'Aakhri Sach' displays is like none other. Playing this sharp and fierce cop, really pushed me to embrace all the discomfort and perceptions that came with it and overcome them. I am glad to be a part of this story and take this to the world with Disney+ Hotstar!”
Abhishek Banerjee said, "'Aakhri Sach' delves into the darkest corners of the human mind. The journey of bringing this character to life has been a complicated process that I was so excited to play from the very first time I got this script. The show also stars Shivin Narang, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij and Sanjeev Chopra in pivotal roles.
