Tamil actor Vishal has established himself as a successful actor after his latest movies became hit and received love from the audience. He is currently basking in the success of his latest movie 'Mark Antony'. It was recently rumoured that Vishal will venture into politics after actor Thalapathy Vijay but he has denied these rumours. Vishal posted a note on social media and said that he will continue to do people's work.
Vishal wrote, "I am forever indebted to the people of Tamil Nadu who gave me status and recognition as one of you, as an actor and social worker. From the beginning, I wanted my fan club to benefit people instead of just being an average fan club so that I could help as much as possible. With this goal in mind, we implemented these clubs as a charity movement, to do our best for those in need.”

He added, "I have never helped people expecting political support from them in return. As Thiruvalluvar preached, I will continue to do my best to help people as I consider it my duty. I will continue to do the people's work that I am currently doing through the People's Welfare Movement. If fate has other plans in the future for me, I will not hesitate to step up for the people.”
Vishal was earlier in the news after he publicly accused an official at the Central Board of Film Certification of taking over Rs 6 lakh from him to release the Hindi version of 'Mark Antony' in theatres. Addressing his issue on social media, he wrote, "#Corruption being shown on the silver screen is fine. But not in real life. Can't digest. Especially in govt offices. And even worse happening in #CBFC Mumbai office. Had to pay 6.5 lacs for my film #MarkAntonyHindi version. 2 transactions. 3 Lakhs for screening and 3.5 Lakhs for certificate."
