Taskaree Teaser Out: After stealing the limelight in Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, Emraan Hashmi is now gearing up as a customs officer in Netflix’s crime-thriller web series Taskaree. The makers have finally released the teaser of the much-anticiapted web series and it has taken the internet by storm. Created by filmmaker Neeraj Pandey and helmed by Raghav Jairath, the web series is produced by Friday Storytellers. Alongside Emraan Hashmi, Taskaree also features Sharad Kelkar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Anurag Sinha and Zoya Afroz in key roles.
Netflix shared the teaser on their official Instagram page with the caption, “Ab sab kuch scan hoga. Watch Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web, out 14 January, only on Netflix.” The crime-thriller web series, Taskaree, is set to premiere on January 14. The series centers on Superintendent Arjun Meena, played by Emraan Hashmi, a calm, calculating, and razor-sharp officer. With his team, Arjun Meena cracks down on airport smuggling operations, which range from luxury goods hidden in plain sight to sophisticated international syndicates. The show promises precision, pace, and high-stakes thrills.

Speaking about his role in Taskaree: The Smuggler's Web and working for the first time with Neeraj Pandey, Emraan Hashmi revealed, "Playing a customs officer is new territory for me, and Arjun Meena isn’t loud or flashy, he’s calm, observant, and always thinking two steps ahead. I enjoyed stepping into that space. I’m really looking forward to audiences seeing me in this new role. Partnering with Netflix and Neeraj sir makes it even more special, it’s makers that encourage stories like this to be told at scale.”
