Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Box Office Collection Day 1: Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's latest release, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', has kicked off its box office journey with a promising start. Released just in time for Valentine's Week, the film managed to capture the hearts of audiences, earning an estimated Rs 7.02 crore on its opening day in India, as per Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh. 

Directed by the talented duo, Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' delves into the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to narrate a mesmerising tale of love. Shahid Kapoor portrays an intelligent robot scientist who unexpectedly develops emotions, eventually leading him to marry Kriti Sanon's character, Sifra, an equally intelligent female robot.

The unique premise of the film, coupled with the on-screen chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, has intrigued audiences since its announcement. As the duo teams up for the first time, their performances have garnered praise, adding depth and charm to the narrative. Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput and brother Ishaan Khatter were the first celebs to send in their good words for the movie, claiming it to be a thorough entertainer.

Taran Adarsh taking to X wrote, "#TeriBaatonMeinAisaUljhaJiya opens on expected lines on Day 1… The numbers witnessed momentum post noon onwards, especially at key metros… Urban centres take lead… Day 2 [Sat] should witness growth, with national chains taking the biz forward… Fri ₹ 7.02 cr. #India biz." His tweet highlights that the film is expected to do better on the weekend as Valentine's Day approaches.

On its opening day, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' witnessed a commendable response from moviegoers across India. According to reports from Sacnilk.com, the film recorded an overall 14.92 per cent occupancy in Hindi cinemas. The morning and afternoon shows witnessed decent footfalls, with 8.8 per cent and 11.79 per cent occupancy, respectively. However, it was the evening and night shows that saw a significant surge in audience turnout, with 13.62 per cent and 25.46 per cent occupancy, respectively.

Adding to the film's charm is the presence of veteran actor Dharmendra, who enriches the narrative with his seasoned performance.
