Thandel Box Office Collection Day 1: Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Telugu movie has opened well at the ticket windows. The film had a good collection despite box office clashes with Vidaamuyarchi and Loveyapa. The film received positive responses from the audience and the critics. The Telugu version worked extremely well but the Hindi and Tamil version underperformed. Well, it seems the movie will set some records in the coming days. Check out the box office collection.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 10 crore. The Telugu version of the film earned Rs 9.8 crore, the Hindi version collected Rs 0.15 crore and the Tamil version earned Rs 0.05 crore. It had an overall 53.58 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres. The film had 47.04 per cent Telugu occupancy in the morning shows, 44.76 per cent in the afternoon shows, 51.40 per cent in the evening shows and 71.10 per cent in the night shows. On the other hand, it had 9.13 per cent Hindi occupancy and 9.08 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres on Friday.
As per trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Thandel dominated the Indian Box Office On First Day on BookMyShow. As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of around Rs 75 to 80 crores. The exact figure has not been shared by the makers.
About Thandel
The movie is about a fisherman, who gets caught in the international waters by the Pakistani forces. It will showcase his struggles to come to his home country. The movie features Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Prakash Belawadi, Aadukalam Naren, Karunakaran and Divya Pillai in key roles. It has been directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu and Allu Aravind.
