The Conjuring: Last Rites highly anticipated trailer is finally out, and it’s everything fans expected and more. The movie, which marks the final installments in the beloved horror franchise, promises one final chilling case for Ed and Lorraine Warren as they dive into the infamous Smurl haunting. 

The Conjuring: Last Rites is based on the last case the Warrens participated in. Like other films in the series, The movie is based on the Smurl's family's hauntings that were reported in the 1970's and 1980's. The Smurl family reported bizarre incidents, such as eerie voices, objects vanishing and even violent attacks from an unseen force. Looking for help, the family reached out to famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who believed a strong demonic presence was behind the terror.

The trailer for The Conjuring: Last Rites has left fans with goosebumps. It shows Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, facing their most terrifying case yet. The promo starts with Ed showing their room full of cursed objects, like the painting of the nun Valak and the iconic haunted doll Annabelle. The trailer then cuts to Lorraine seeing an unknown hand on their daughter's shoulder, and a young girl getting scared by dolls floating in the air. 

Fans are going wild over the trailer, with many expressing their excitement and anticipation for the movie. One fan wrote, "Who else is ready for some spine-chilling horror and that classic Conjuring terror?" Another fan gushed, "WE ARE BACK BABYY!!!!!!! They listened to the feedback for part 3 and now they look they’re going all out for the final movie. Looks amazing, I'm so excited."

The Conjuring franchise has been a beloved part of horror fans' lives for over a decade, and the final installment is sure to be an emotional farewell. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga have both spoken with Entertainment Weekly, about the emotional impact of ending the franchise. Wilson said, "I think that’s why when you say, ‘Can you imagine it being over?’ I actually can’t imagine it really because of her. It really meant the world to me." On the other hand, Vera Farmiga said, “I’m going to miss Patrick most of all. I mean, not really. He’s reachable within seconds on text. But I’ll miss him as a fun scene partner who totally understands my kind of neurology, who vibes with my brain in a way. I love that guy. I’m so blessed to have had him by my side. He made all of these life-zapping, exhausting exorcisms feel like a family barbecue."

The Conjuring: Last Rites trailer has set the stage for a thrilling and emotional ride. With its spine-chilling moments and beloved characters, this final installment is sure to be a fitting end to the franchise.
