Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon have started shooting for their most awaited film 'The Crew' and fans could not be more excited. There is an exciting update about the film as it has been reported that Kapil Sharma will also star in 'The Crew'.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Kapil Sharma will soon start filming for 'The Crew' and the team is extremely happy to have him on board. “Kapil has an amazing role in The Crew, and the team is extremely excited to have him onboard. In fact, his role will be a pleasant surprise for the audience. He will start filming for it soon,” a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.

As per reports, Diljit Dosanjh will also play an important role in the film.

Meanwhile, the shooting of the film has already started. Sharing the news, Rhea Kapoor wrote, "Is this real life!? Day 1. On @kapoor.sunita birthday with my Nani’s blessings! Happy birthday mommy I couldn’t be here without you! I love you!"

During the promotions of Laal Singh Chaddha, Kareena talked about collaborating with Rhea Kapoor once again. “I am doing a film with Rhea Kapoor. It is not Veere 2, it is a story about three women. It is going to be slightly different. It's a super cool and fun story.”

The Crew will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. While speaking to Pinkvilla, Ekta Kapoor shared, “'The Crew' will explore the hilarious trysts of three working women in the airline industry with some unexpected circumstances, and how they overcome this with their zest for life.”

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. She will be seen in Netflix's film 'Devotion Of Suspect X' and has already wrapped up shooting for the film. She will also star in Hansal Mehta's directorial.

Meanwhile, Kriti was last seen in Shehzaada. She will be seen in Adipurush, along with Prabhas, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan.

Tabu will be seen in 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' along with Ajay Devgn. Whereas, Kapil Sharma was last seen in Nandita Das' film 'Zwigato'.
