The Family Star Box Office Collection Day 5: The film starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, experienced an uptick in its box office figures. This is a significant relief for the film as it needs to maintain its momentum until its second weekend. The movie was launched in both Tamil and Telugu languages. Directed by Parasuram Petla, The Family Star amassed Rs 5.75 crore at the box office on its opening day. According to Sacnilk, Vijay starrer garnered close to Rs 2.5 crore in net earnings at the domestic box office.

The Family Star Box Office Report

On April 9, the film earned an estimated Rs 2.40 crore in theaters, compared to the previous day's collection of Rs 1.3 crore. The total earnings so far stand at Rs 16 crore. Telugu theaters reported an occupancy rate of 24.77 percent, while the Tamil version had a 15.45 percent occupancy on the fifth day. In total, 'The Family Star' has grossed Rs 16 crore at the domestic box office within its first five days of release, with the Telugu version maintaining a 24.77 percent occupancy and the Tamil version at 15.45 percent on April 9th.

Following its initial setback at the box office, reportedly caused by negative online campaigns targeting Vijay Deverakonda, the film encountered a backlash during its first three days. In response, the film's fan association and producers filed a cybercrime complaint against the implicated accounts.

Parasuram Petla takes on the dual role of writer and director for the film, produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) under the guidance of Dil Raju and Sirish. Vasu Varma contributes as the co-writer. Gopi Sundar crafts the captivating soundtrack and background score, while cinematography is expertly handled by K U Mohanan.
