The first season of the highly acclaimed The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show made its debut in March of this year. The show's first season played host to a diverse range of celebrities, including Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, the dynamic duo of Vicky and Sunny Kaushal, and the renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, among many others.
It is pertinent to note that Sumona Chakravarti has not been introduced in the teaser or in the show. So, it is under the wraps if the KKK14 contestant will be a part of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2. Earlier, reports surfaced that Sumona was allegedly not informed about Kapil Sharma's show and was therefore not a part of it, contrary to claims that she left The Kapil Sharma Show by choice. This reportedly left Sumona feeling upset and disheartened, especially while she was away filming Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in Romania.
She said in an interview with News18 showsha, “I have said this time and again, I was part of a show which ended in July last year and it’s not like you exited or I resigned or I got fired, the show ended in July and after that, we all went ahead. We took up our individual projects after that. I’m doing Khatron Ke Khiladi. He (Kapil Sharma) did another show. It’s just that there is no bad blood at all. Why would I be upset (with Kapil)? He and I worked before and I went to Romania."
