She added, "Heartening to see that even internationally #TheKeralaStory is touching hearts of so many. it's just two days old in the UK …. USA, Cannada, Australia and other countries been reading your messages as well."
'The Kerala Story' has been declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. Talking about the decision, the Deputy CM of Uttar Pradesh said, "Making 'The Kerala Story' tax-free is a very good decision. I want the people of Uttar Pradesh to watch this film and understand how our sisters have suffered. We will also go and watch the film. The people in West Benegal will not accept the ban on this film."
If a movie has been made tax-free, it does not mean that the tickets will be available for free. It means that the state has waived the levy of entertainment tax and the tickets will be available at a discount.
