The Raja Saab Budget: Prabhas' Raja Saab is one of the most eagerly awaited films of 2026, which finally hit the theatres today. Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Malavika Mohanan, Sanjay Dutt, Brahmanandam, Yogi Babu, and other actors make up the cast of the Telugu movie. The Raja Saab had a budget of Rs 400 crore, revealed filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga in a promotional video. He said, "It's a big set, three heroines, songs are there, daadi (grandmother) is there, and Rs 400 crore budget, and he said he'll finish it in 40 days."
The Raja Saab's budget is now at par with that of AR Murugadoss' Sikandar, and SS Rajamouli's RRR and Ayan Mukerji's War 2, all of which were rumoured to have budgets of about Rs 400 crore.

The Raja Saab makers hosted fan previews throughout the nation before its release. Unexpectedly, a video from the screenings has gone viral on social media. Fans are seen bringing fake crocodiles into theatres in the video. As they dash into the hallway, some fervent supporters even lift the plush crocodiles above their heads. For the unversed, the producers were allowed to increase ticket rates, with VIP ones going as high as Rs 1000 on January 8 in Andhra Pradesh.

How Much Did Prabhas Charge For The Raja Saab?
Meanwhile, Prabhas typically charges about Rs. 150 crore for each movie. Despite being one of The Raja Saab's primary draws, the actor has apparently decided to accept a substantial salary reduction—33%, to be exact. According to reports, he took home Rs. 100 crore for The Raja Saab. Prabhas is thought to have agreed to a reduced price for The Raja Saab to demonstrate his support for the movie, which allowed the producers to spend more on their lavish production, including the sets and visual effects.
The Raja Saab centres on a man who is looking for his grandfather and finds a dark presence in a mansion. The horror comedy, which is produced by IVY Entertainment and People Media Factory, is written and directed by Maruthi. Today, January 9, the movie opens in theatres.
