The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection Day 2: Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna starrer drama thriller movie has started off on a strong note at the ticket windows. On the second day after the release, the film saw a major spike in numbers. It brings hope that the movie will do wonders at the box office in the coming days. Despite clashes with big south movies like Kanguva and Matka, The Sabarmati Report maintained a decent pace. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. With the growing numbers, it seems the movie will have a good first-weekend collection.
The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection Day 2
As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 2.62 crore on Day 2. The net collection of The Sabarmati Report stands at Rs 4.31 crore. It had an overall 26.63 per cent Hindi occupancy in theatres on Saturday. The movie had 11.56 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 22.80 per cent in the afternoon shows, 28.50 per cent in the evening shows and 43.64 per cent in the night shows.
About The Sabarmati Report
The story is based on the real event that took place on the morning of February 27, 2002 when Sabarmati Express set a blaze at Godhra railway station in Gujarat. It led to the deaths of 59 passengers. The movie features Vikrant Massey, Rohit Ameriya, Raashii Khanna, Anjali Nadig, Sandeep Kumar, Riddhi Dogra, Tushar Phulke and Sundip Ved in key roles.
The Sabarmati Report Budget
As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 50 crore. It has been directed by Dheeraj Sarna. The film was produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan.
The Sabarmati Report OTT Release
After the successful theatrical run, the movie will be released on Zee5. The release date of the movie is yet to be announced.
