The Vaccine War Box Office Collection Day 4: Vivek Agnihotri’s Science Drama Sees Slight Growth After Slow Start

‘The Vaccine War’ stars Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, and Raima Sen in lead roles. The film is helmed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and is produced by Pallavi Joshi. The film hit theatres on September 28 and witnessed a clash with Pulkit Samrat-Richa Chadha’s ‘Fukrey 3’ which is having a good run at the theatres. ‘The Vaccine War’ also stars Sapthami Gowda, Girija Oak, and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.

Talking about the box office collection of the film, ‘The Vaccine War’ minted Rs 2.20 Crore on Day 4, taking the total collection of the film to be around Rs 5.70 Crore in India. The film had an overall 21.34 percent occupancy on Sunday, and faced a tough competition from ‘Fukrey 3’ and ‘Chandramukhi 2.’

‘The Vaccine War’ pays tribute to the medical fraternity and scientists of the Indian Council of Medical Research during the tough times of the pandemic that created havoc across the globe. The film talks about the struggle of making India’s first indigenous vaccine and what all went behind the curtains.

Vivek Agnihotri is known for his massive success of ‘The Kashmir Files’ released last year which created big numbers in the theatres and was hailed nationally and globally. The film revolves around the 1990 exodus faced by the Kashmiri Pandits in the Jammu and Kashmir region of India.
