Legendary actor Jackie Shroff’s daughter Krishna Shroff is taking part in the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. The diva feels that this show is the perfect for her career. She also shared that she has no interest in doing movies but rather wants to focus on reality shows. Krishna also recalled the time when her parents were hesitant about her doing the show. She further said that their nervousness later became excitement.
In an interview with PTI, Krishna said "There've been many questions around whether I want to do movies. It is always like, ‘Why isn’t she doing films? Is she going to do it?’. I was very clear from early on in life that I'm comfortable just being me, I’m comfortable in the reality space. It is something that I feel very sure about because I get to be me. I’m excited to connect with a wide audience through this show because the platform is immense. Right now, I’m on Instagram, there’s only so much that you can show on that platform. I’ve always tried to do things that resonate with me, and I strive to do things that feel as authentic and real as possible. I don’t think there’s anything better than ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ that could fit my brand specifically.”
Krishna also shared the reaction of her parents Jackie Shroff, Ayesha Shroff and brother Tiger Shroff after she decided to be part of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi. She said, “My brother had a great laugh. My parents were hesitant at first and were like, ‘You are the youngest, going out for a long period of time’. They were concerned about safety, which is normal but that nervousness became excitement.”
Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 will be shot in Romania. This year popular celebrities like Sumona Chakravarti, Krishna Shroff, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Gashmeer Mahajani, Shilpa Shinde, Asim Riaz, Shalin Bhanot, Abhishek Kumar, Karan Veer Mehra, Kedar Aashish Mehrotraa, Aditi Sharma, and Niyati Fatnani to be part of the show.
