Ram Charan not only portrays a good husband on the silver screen but is also a dotting spouse in real life. The South superstar, who has been married to Upasana Konidela since 2012, welcomed their first child Klin Kaara in 2023. Upasana Konidela recently opened up about her postpartum depression and shared how she overcame the challenges. The star wife also admitted that her husband Ram Charan was with her throughout the journey of her embracing motherhood. She also called him a ‘therapist’ and stated that he moved in with her at her parent’s home after Klin Kaara’s birth.
In an interview with The Times of India, Upasana said, “Ram Charan has been my strength throughout. My husband was my therapist and moved in with me to my parents’ place. I understand that it’s not the same for all mothers, so it’s vital for them to prioritise their well-being and seek professional assistance when needed.”
She continued, “Charan’s loving attention and participation in raising Klin Kaara has enriched this phase of my life even further. Even her eating habits mirror his; she’s a true Konidela. Transitioning into motherhood has been a profound journey, but certainly not without challenges.”
Upasana On Freezing Eggs
“I froze my eggs because every woman deserves the autonomy to make decisions about motherhood based on their desires and timelines. It was a personal journey that I embraced on my own. Why should anything practical or enhancing life’s comfort be taboo? To young women considering egg freezing, I urge you to prioritise your well-being and future aspirations. Educate yourself and make decisions that align with your goals and values. Egg freezing is like an insurance for couples,” she added.
