The movie is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan who played a major role in the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian, Kashmir, which took place back in 2014. The film stars Sai Pallavi, Sivakarthikeyan, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Suresh Chakravarthy, Shreekumar and Geetha Kailasam in prominent roles. It was released in theatres on October 31, 2024.

Kanguva (Prime Video)

The movie focuses on a tribal warrior whose fierce struggle to save his people from his homeland a millennium ago is mysteriously linked to a cop’s quest in the present time. The film features Suriya Sivakumar, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Aarash Shah, Karthik Sivakumar, Redin Kingsley and Yogi Babu in significant roles. It was released in theatres on November 14, 2024.

Thangalaan (Netflix)

The movie focuses on the lives of mine workers in the Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka. The action drama features Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Daniel Caltagirone, Preeti Karan and Muthu Kumar in key roles. It was released in theatres on August 14, 2024. The film was earlier scheduled to release in September then it has been postponed several times since then. However, the film is expected to be released in December.
