Upcoming Telugu OTT Releases In January 2025
Neeli Megha Shyama (Aha)
The highly anticipated film starring VishwaDev Rachakonda and Payal Radhakrishna, Neeli Megha Shyama, is finally set to release. Initially intended for a theatrical release, the movie will now bypass cinemas and premiere directly on the streaming platform Aha in early January, after the platform acquired its streaming rights for a substantial sum.
Pushpa 2: The Rule
Pushpa 2: The Rule is a 2024 Telugu action drama film directed by Sukumar, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film follows Pushpa Raj, a sandalwood smuggler, as he faces opposition from enemies, including SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS, in this sequel to Pushpa: The Rise.
If the reports are to be believed, Pushpa 2: The Rule will stream on Netflix in January 2025.
Fear
The 2024 Indian Telugu-language psychological thriller film, Fear, hit the theatres in December 2024. Written and directed by the talented Haritha Gogineni, this gripping movie boasts an impressive cast, with Vedhika and Arvind Krishna taking on the lead roles. The film's narrative is expertly woven to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, as it delves into the darker aspects of the human psyche.
Fear is expected to make its OTT debut in January 2025 on Prime Video.
Razakar
Razakar, also known as Razakar: The Silent Genocide Of Hyderabad, is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language epic historical action drama film. Directed and written by Yata Satyanarayana, the movie is based on the pivotal events that led to Operation Polo in the former Princely state of Hyderabad. Produced by Gudur Narayana Reddy under Samarveer Creation LLP, Razakar was released on 15 March 2024.
Razakar was supposed to be out on Aha in December 2024, but it will now be released in January 2025.
