Vicky Kaushal, one of Bollywood’s most sought-after actors, is reportedly in discussions for two major projects with Yash Raj Films (YRF). Known for his stellar performances and versatility, the actor is already creating buzz with his current lineup, including the historical drama Chhaava and the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Love & War, where he stars alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
According to a report by Peeping Moon, Vicky has had discussions with YRF’s Aditya Chopra, who envisions the actor as a fresh face in the studio’s growing Spy Universe. This cinematic universe, which has already delivered blockbuster hits like Ek Tha Tiger and Pathaan, is set to expand further. Alia Bhatt is making her Spy Universe debut with Alpha and Vicky is being considered to lead a standalone cop film within the franchise.
The report further revealed, “Aditya has big plans for the Spy Universe and wants to bring in new faces to continue the legacy. Vicky’s role could inject a fresh dynamic into the franchise, but the final decision depends on how Alpha performs at the box office.”

In addition to the Spy Universe, Vicky Kaushal is rumoured to be part of Dhoom 4, another iconic YRF franchise. The Dhoom series is known for its adrenaline-pumping action and thrilling heist plots, with the antagonist always taking centre stage. Recent buzz suggests that Ranbir Kapoor might play the antagonist in the fourth instalment, while Vicky could step into the shoes of ACP Jai Dixit, previously portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan.
If these reports hold true, fans might witness an epic chase between Vicky’s determined cop and Ranbir’s suave criminal mastermind. However, official confirmations from the filmmakers are still awaited.
Before these potential collaborations, Vicky will grace the big screen in Chhaava, a historical drama based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. Fans are also eagerly awaiting his performance in Love & War, where he reunites with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor under Bhansali’s masterful direction.
