Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Receive Invite For Ram Mandir Inauguration: Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have now become a part of the star-studded list invited to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. Prior to them, celebrities such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Rajinikanth, Manmohan Singh, Dhanush, Mohanlal, Ajay Devgn, Prabhas, Yash, Arun Govil, and others had grabbed headlines for being invited to this auspicious event.

A picture is getting viral on social media which saw Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma being presented with the invitation by an official from the Ram Mandir trust. The picture saw the 'PK' actor dressed in a white-coloured anarkali suit, while the Indian cricketer looked dapper in a blue shirt and white pants. Netizens have spotted actress' baby bump in the viral photo. As Ayodhya prepares for a historic ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to all devotees of Lord Ram not to gather in the city on the consecration day. He suggested that the public can visit the temple after the formal program concludes on January 22.

This significant event, the 'Pran Pratishtha' marking the installation of Lord Ram's idol at the grand temple, will be overseen by PM Modi. The ceremonial placement of Lord Ram's idol at the temple's sanctum-sanctorum is scheduled to unfold in Ayodhya.

108-foot-long incense stick lit at Ayodhya Ram Mandir

On Tuesday, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the leader of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, conducted a significant ritual by lighting a massive 108-foot-long incense stick. This special incense stick, brought from Gujarat, was ignited amid a large crowd chanting "Jai Shri Ram." It is believed that the pleasant fragrance from this gigantic incense stick will waft over a distance of 50 km.
