While Virat Kohli is one of the most loved cricketers of all time, the RCB star is also admired by the youth for setting an example as a dotting husband. Recently, the star cricketer celebrated his wife Anushka Sharma’s 36th birthday on May 1. The Bollywood star has been away from the limelight since she gave birth to her second child Akaay. But she remained in the headlines for her personal life updates.
Reportedly, the duo has been in Bengaluru for some time now as the recent post of Virat suggested the same. Viral Kohli thanked Chef Manu Chandra for a pleasant dining experience for his family, giving a sneak peek into the birthday celebration for his wife. The picture in the post has a menu card that showcases the name of the restaurant named ‘Lupa’, a renowned restaurant in Bengaluru. ‘Celebrating Anushka’ can be seen written on the cover of the menu card. Sharing the post on the Instagram story, Virat wrote “Thank you, Manu Chandra for an unbelievable dining experience the other night. Hands down one of the best food experiences of our lives.”

It appears Virat and Anushka were not alone in the celebration as South African cricketer Faf du Plessis also shared a picture from that day. In the group picture, Virat and Anushka were seen in a cozy moment. He captioned the post, "Great night spend with good people..."
The chef of the restaurant also shared a picture on his Instagram account. He wrote, “Shiny happy people + good food = joy Such a lovely evening this was, made better for this lots absolute love for the pursuit of great nosh. Happy happy birthday @anushkasharma ❤️❤️ @imagesbyimari you were missed @thelupagram.”

Earlier on Anushka Sharma’s birthday, Virat Kohli shared a series of happy pictures of his wife. He captioned, “I would have been completely lost if I didn’t find you. Happy birthday my love. You are the light to our world world. We love you so much.”
Notably, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma dated for a while before tying the knot in Italy in 2017. The couple first met at an advertisement shoot for a shampoo brand in 2013. Since then the duo has often been spotted at several events and cricket matches of Kohli. Virat and Anushka have also welcomed their first child Vamika in 2021.
